To introduce clinicians to Gamma Knife® surgery with Leksell Gamma Knife® Icon™.The course will focus on clinicalinformation, combined with radiation physics, dosimetry, stereotactic imaging,quality assurance (QA), technical information and treatment planning usingLeksell GammaPlan®. Introduction to workflows with Leksell Gamma Knife® Icon™;demo and hands-on.

          -System overview incl. StereotacticCone Beam Computer Tomography (Stereotactic

           and frameless techniques, Treatment DeliveryEvaluations, Radiation Unit, Patient

           Positioning System, Control System

         -Practical workflow sessions


         -Demonstrations of Clearance, Radiation Safety and Emergency Procedures
