The QA tool is used to do the QA check Focus Precision, QA check CBCT precision, and QA check Clearance tool. The QA tool is used together with a frame adapter. The frame adapter is attached to the QA tool, and then docked to the docking device of the LGK patient couch.
The base plate has three interface areas which are used to attach the QA tool to the Vantage frame adapter. The front plate has eight interface areas which are used for QA check of the clearance check tool. The four rods are used for QA check of the CBCT precision (only applicable for Leksell Gamma Knife® Icon™). The radiation detector is used for QA check of the radiation focus precision.
